The death sentence of Davud Khadim, a 30-year-old Kurdish prisoner from Marivan, previously convicted of "premeditated murder," was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Davud Khadim, a father of two young children, was executed at the Central Prison of Sanandaj.
He had been arrested four years ago on charges of "homicide." Subsequently, he was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Davud Khadimi was transferred to solitary confinement on Monday, December 11, in preparation for the execution.
Notably, the news of Davud Khadim's execution has not been officially announced in government media, particularly those close to the judiciary, at the time of writing this news.
