Hengaw : In the past few days, at least 3 citizens have been detained by Iranian security services in the cities of Piranshahr, Kamyaran and Ravansar.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, February7, 2021, a Kurdish citizen from Piranshahr district of West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province in Iranian Kurdistan identified as "Taha Atash Afrooz", was detained by Iranian security services and transferred to an unknown location.
On the other hand, on Tuesday, February 2, a Kurdish citizen from the village of Ashkaftan in the Mouchesh region of Kamyaran district in Kurdistan Province identified as Javanmir Zahedi, was detained by Iranian security services and his fate is unknown.
On the same day, an other Kurdish citizen from Ravansar, identified as "Faruq Khodakarami", was detained by Iranian intelligence forces and released a day later.
