7 of recently arrested Kurdish citizens in Iranian Kurdistan transferred to Urmia Central Prison

Hengaw : At least 7 Kurdish citizens who were arrested  during recent month in Iranian Kurdistan have been transferred to Urmia Central Prison after completing their interrogation.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization on Saturday, February 13, 2021 , Farhad Musapour from Rabat, Hossein Gardashi from Bukan, Shapul Khezri from Mahabad, and Shwan Poshtvar, from Naqadeh were transferred to the political ward of Urmia central prison after being interrogated in Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)  Intelligence detention Center .

Farhad, Hossein, and Shapul were arrested by IRGC intelligence forces on Saturday, January 9, 2021, and Shwan  was arrested by Iranian intelligence forces on Monday, January 25, 2021 , on charges of religious activities .

On the other hand, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 , Soran Hosseinzadeh and Sirvan Nouri, from Mahabad, who were detained on January 9, 2021 , were transferred to the political ward of Urmia Central Prison after a month of detention in the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center.

Hengaw had previously reported that also Azima Naseri, another arrested Kurdish  citizen from Bukan , had been transferred to Urmia Central Prison.
