Hengaw: A month after Darya Talabani was detained by Iranian intelligence forces, she has been transferred to Mahabad Central Prison.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Darya Talabani was transferred from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Gaurds Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia to Mahabad Central Prison on Saturday, February 13, 2021, after more than a month of interrogation.
Darya Talabani was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in Mahabad on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the same time as a large wave of arrests of Kurdish activists.
At least 10 Kurdish women activists have been arrested in the past month, 4 of whom have been released, according to Hengaw Human Rights Organisation statistics center.
