Hengaw – Iran’s security forces on Thursday arrested five civil rights activists from the Kurdish city of Mariwan and transported them to an unknown location.

Security forces arrested five environmentalists near Gweza-Kwera of Kurdistan Province, where they were protesting local authorities’ actions damaging the area’s environment, a local source told Hengaw.
