Hengaw : Three detained Kurdish citizens from Tangisar village in Sanandaj are still in custody, and security forces have told their families to "persuade your children to confess."

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Arash Ahmadi, 22, Amir Rezaei, 30, and Aram Moradian, 32 are still in custody after more than 40 days have have only twice contacted their families by short telephone call.

According to a source close to the families of these three citizens, in recent days, and despite the ongoing follow-up of the families of the the detainees , not only have they not been able to meet with them, but security forces have told them: "Tell your children to confess so we would release them."

The source added that the families of the these citizens are now worried that their children will be tortured to get a forced confession, and that they have become more concerned because they have not been contacted for the past three weeks.

Theas citizens were arrested simultaneously by the Iranian Intelligence forces in Sanandaj   on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in connection with arranging Newroz celebrations in the village of Tangisar.
