Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen was arrested by Iran's security agencies in Poveh. In December 2018, at least 51 Kurdish citizens were arrested.

On Thursday, December 27, Poveh's Intelligence Forces arrested a young Kurdish man named Baset Mohammadi, based on the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

Baset Mohammadi, 32, son of Mohammad Khan from Dare Bian vilage, Poveh was arrested on charge of cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties in Iran.

"Baset has been transferred to Kermansha's (Kermanshan) Intelligence office lockup", a source close to Mohammadi's family told Hengaw.

Over December 2018, at least 51 Kurdish citizens have been arrested by Iran's regime of whom 37 were arrested on charge of cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties in Iran, according to the statistic center of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.
