Kurdish citizen detained by Iranian security forces in Saqqez

 Hengaw: Security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran detained a Kurdish citizen in  Saqqez district of Kurdistan Province and transferred him to an unknown location.

 According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, January 23, 2021, Iranian security forces in t Saqqez raided the home of a Kurdish citizen identified as Afshin Elahi and detained him . 

 According to an informed source, Afshin Elahi has been  transferred to an unknown place after his detention , and despite the efforts of his family to find his whereabouts , no organisation has been held accountable, and his fate is still  unknown.

 As of preparation of this report , the  reason for the detention and the charges against this Kurdish citizen by Iranian security services have not been clarified.
