Kurdish prisoners are transferred to solidarity confinement

Hangaw: The seven Kurdish civilians who were recently handed lengthy sentences by the Iranian Revolutionary Court in Wrima were transferred to solitary confinement.

According to reports received by Hengaw, a Human Rights Watch reporting on the human rights violations in Kurdistan and Iran, a Kurd from Shno was sentenced to death and 6 others to prison for aiding and collaborating with a Kurdish opposition group.

The Kurdish political prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement in the Darya Prison in Wrimia on Sunday, January 29 2017.

The names and sentences of those sentenced are as follows: Hidayat Abdullahpour sentenced to death Hasel Azizi sentenced to 25 years Mohammad Zahir Framerzi sentenced to 20 years Yaiqob BaAkrm sentenced to 15 years Jalal Masroori sentenced to 15 years Kamal Masroori sentenced to 11 years Sadiq Bakrm sentenced to 10 years .

Hasel Azizi was summoned on Friday, January 21, 2017, and assaulted by the security forces in the Wrimia prison.
