 Mozhgan Kavosi, a Kurdish activist and researcher in the field of material language and human rights and one of the former political prisoners, has been transferred to Tonekabon Central Prison after 35 days of being in custody.

 According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Mozhgan Kavosi was transferred to Tonekabon Central Prison on Sunday, October 30, 2022, after 35 days of being in the solitary cell in the Nowshahr Intelligence detention center in Mazandaran Province.

 During the recent protests, Mozhgan Kavosi was kidnapped by IRGC intelligence forces at her home in Nowshahr, since her arrest, she had only one short phone call with her family.


 It should be mentioned that Mozhgan Kavosi was also arrested during the protests in November 2018 and was later sentenced to three years in prison by the Iranian courts.  This Kurdish activist who follows the Yarsan religion was released from Kajoee prison in Karaj in December 2021 after completing her sentence.
