Sanandaj prosecutor issues an indictment against 11 Kurdish citizens who protested the demolition of Ukrainian plane by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards

Hengaw : 11 Kurdish  citizens from  Sanandaj, who were present at the funeral of two victims of the Ukrainian plane that was crashed by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards and demanded the trial of the perpetrators of this catastrophe, were arrested  by the Iranian police and have been summoned to the court according to the indictment issued by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary and Criminal Court in Sanandaj

Based on  a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization, these  Kurdish citizens from Sanandaj  who condemned the demolition of a Ukrainian plane  by Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards, and the prosecution of the defendants in peaceful demonstrations were arrested by Iranian  police forces and their case has been  referred to the Security Branch of the Sanandaj Prosecutor's Office.

The case was finally referred to First Branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary and Criminal Court in Sanandaj with approval from Sanandaj’s persecutor for persecuting these 11 Kurdish citizens on charges of insulting the Supreme Leader, disrupting public security, and the vague title of conspiracy to disrupt internal security.

Hengaw’s correspondent  in Sanandaj announced the identities of these 11 citizens as follows;

1- Shiva Ahmadi Sitanavi

2- Zahra Moradi (66-year-old )

3- Pedram Hoshyarian (31-year-old)

4- Maria Saedpanah (41-year-old)

5- Abdullah Amini Nabikandi

6- Leila Hosseini (46-year-old)

7- Zahra Saedpanah

8- Yunus Fekri

9- Mohammad Sina Mirzaei (31-year-old)

10- Seyed Ghazi Husseini

11- Sirur Shahabi (54-year-old)

 

According to a reliable source, these 11 citizens were  identified by CCTV cameras  and then arrested after participating in funeral of Arvin Mortab and Auda Farzaneh, two victims of the crashed Ukrainian plane.

They  were later temporarily released on bail  until the court hearing .

 

According to the notifications sent to 11 citizens on February 6 and 9 , 2021 , they must be present at First Branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj first on Sunday, February 21, 2021, and then at 102nd Branch of the Criminal Court on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
