Tehran: Bahar Aslani, Women rights activist and photographers was arrested

On Monday, September 26, 2022, Bahar Aslani, a kurdish activist, was detained by security forces, at her home in Tehran. She was then taken to the Ward 209 of Evin Prison, the detention facility for the Ministry of Intelligence.
 

Bahar Aslani was sent to the jail hospital during these last days, according to a source close to the Aslani family, because of a relapse of the asthma she has battled for years and her physical state is worrying.

 
Bahar Aslani is photographer and women rights activist from Bijar, who lives in Tehran. 
 

In 2016, she was detained during protests on March 8, International Women's Day, in front of the Ministry of Labor. She was released after a few days.
