Two Kolbars lost their lives after falling from elevated areas, with at least 6 others sustaining injuries

Sorush Shukri from Sarvabad and Abu Bakr Makhozi from Sardasht lost their lives following falls from high terrain. Additionally, at least 6 others suffered injuries.

According to the reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Abu Bakr Makhozi, a Kolbar from Sardasht, died in the mountainous border region of the city on the March 28, 2024. Simultaneously, Shorush Shukri, a Kolbar from Almane village in Sarvababd district, lost his life near Jalaneh, falling from the heights. Two more Kolbars, hailing from Baneh, sustained severe injuries and were airlifted to medical centers in Sanandaj.

Elsewhere, near the Newsud border close to Paveh, at least 4 other Kolbars suffered severe injuries from falls and were airlifted to medical centers in Kermanshah. The condition of one of them is reported as critical. Hengaw is currently investigating the identities of the remaining 6 injured Kolbars.
