According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, December 31, 2022, Burhan Eliasi, a 22-year-old shopkeeper, was taken to the hospital after being hit by a bullet from the Iranian government forces.
Hengaw has been informed that, in addition to the death of Burhan Eliasi, eight other citizens were seriously injured during the shooting by Iranian government forces toward the participants in this ceremony.
According to the information Hengaw has obtained, there is a child among the injured, and the physical condition of two of them is reported to be critical.
