Sediq Rasoulian, who was detained by the IRGC in Bukan in the early autumn in connection with a financial issue, suspiciously died in Urmia's central prison.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on January 14, 2023, 45-year-old Sediq Rasoulian from Bukan, who was transferred to one of the city's medical centers due to his deteriorating physical condition in Urmia Prison, died.
According to an informed source, the security agencies contacted the Rasoulian family last night and informed his father about the death of his son and threatened them that the burial should be held immediately after receiving the body of their son.
The body of Sediq Rasoulian was handed over to his family on Sunday, and a relative of Rasoulian's family told Hengaw that the effects of torture were evident on his body.
It should be mentioned that Sediq Rasoulian was arrested by the IRGC in Bukan about 80 days ago in connection with an economic case, and after a week of interrogation, he was transferred to Urmia Central Prison.
