Kurdish teacher Arazu Jalilzadeh arrested in Sardasht; her whereabouts are unknown

Arazu Jalilzadeh, a Kurdish teacher from Sardasht, has been arrested by government forces. Three days have passed since her detention, and no information about her whereabouts has been made available.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, March 3, 2025, Arazu Jalilzadeh, 46, a teacher at Sardasht high schools, was arrested.

Sources informed Hengaw that her arrest took place at her father’s home in Sardasht and was carried out with violence.
