The death sentences of at least 5 Kurdish prisoners, including a woman, carried out at Urmia Central Prison

 The death sentences of at least 5 Kurdish prisoners named Forohar Abbasnejad, Mohammad Ayoubian, Jahanbakhsh Radloui, Hossain Soltan Abadi, and Yasin Rashidi were carried out in Urmia Central Prison.

 According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of the morning of Friday, March 17, 2023, the death sentences of at least 5 prisoners from Urmia, named Forohar Abbasnejad, 40 years old, Mohammad Ayoubian, 37 years old, Jahanbakhsh Radloui, Hossain Soltan Abadi, and Yasin Rashidi, who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related charges were carried out in Urmia Central Prison.

 It should be noted that the Kurdish political prisoner Muhyadding Ebrahimi, who was transferred to solitary confinement, has not yet been executed and the risk of his sentence being carried out is still potential.
