As the "No to Executions on Tuesdays" campaign enters its thirty-first week, a group of prisoners from Tehran Bozorg Prison, along with two members of the Italian Parliament, have joined the campaign. The statement, which is supported by prisoners from 19 prisons across Iran, has been received by Hengaw. The full text of the statement is as follows:

The Continuation of the "No to Executions Tuesdays" Campaign in Its Thirty-First Week with the Support and Joining of a Group of Prisoners from Tehran Bozorg Prison and Two Members of the Italian Parliament

In the newly appointed administration, at least 126 people were taken to the gallows in the month of Mordad (July-August), and their right to life was taken away. Thousands of prisoners across the country, who are all victims of the systematic incompetence of this administration, are also awaiting execution.

Furthermore, the repression apparatus has pressured prisoners who have protested against this inhumane act in any way as part of this campaign, depriving them of their basic rights. A clear example of this pressure is the deprivation of female prisoners in Evin Prison of their right to phone calls and visits, as well as the transfer of political prisoner Armita Pavir to solitary confinement in Tabriz Prison.

Given the intensification of repression and the background of the administration members appointed last week, the new administration can be called the administration of repression and execution, and it can be seen as a prelude to further repression of society. However, despite all the pressures and repressions that the religious government has imposed on this campaign and on Iranian society, the prisoners continue to resist and stand against repression and executions. According to reliable sources, a group of political prisoners in Tehran Bozorg Prison has announced that they have joined the "No to Executions Tuesdays" campaign starting this week.

Fortunately, awakened consciences around the world have heard the voice of resistance from this campaign, including some prominent Italian representatives who have announced their support for the "No to Executions Tuesdays" campaign.

The striking prisoners of the "No to Executions Tuesdays" campaign in 19 different prisons, including Evin Prison (Women's Ward, Wards 4, 6, 8), Qezel Hesar Prison (Units 3 and 4), Central Karaj Prison, Khorramabad Prison, Shiraz Military Prison, Mashhad Prison, Lakan Rasht Prison, Qaemshahr Prison, Tabriz Prison, Ardabil Prison, Urmia Prison, Khoy Prison, Naqadeh Prison, Salmas Prison, Saqqez Prison, Baneh Prison, Marivan Prison, Kamyaran Prison, and Tehran Bozorg Prison, express their gratitude to everyone inside and outside the country who supports this campaign, which aims to abolish executions and torture in Iran. Once again, they call on all prisoners in various prisons to join the "No to Executions Tuesdays" campaign. They also request all awakened consciences around the world to support this campaign to abolish and combat executions.
