The Death Sentence of Prisoner Carried Out in Shiraz Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Mehdi Dehdari from Fasa City, Fars Province, who was previously sentenced to death for intentional murder, was carried in Shiraz Central Prison.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, August 11, 2024, the death sentence of Mehdi Dehdari, a 30-year-old prisoner from Fasa City in Fars province, was carried out in the central prison in Shiraz (Adilabad).

According to a source close to his family, Mahdi Dehdari was arrested three years ago and sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary on charges of intentional murder.

To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
