The Death Sentence of a Kurdish Prisoner Carried Out in Miandoab Prison

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner from Urmia the identity Mohammad Dagestani, who was previously sentenced to death for drug-related charges, was carried out in Miandoab Central Prison.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner the identity of Mohammad Daghestani, from the village of “Haki” in Urmia, was carried out in Midanoab Central Prison. 

According to Hengaw’s sources, Mohammad Daghestani was arrested a few years ago on charges of drug-related charges and was sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.

To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
