Number of Arrested Individuals by Iranian Security Forces Rises to 4

Adel Kake, a young man from Mahabad, was arrested by Iranian security forces, bringing the total number of detainees in the city to four as of yesterday.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 23-year-old Adel Kake, from the village of "Dostali" near Mahabad, was arrested by forces from the Intelligence Department.
Informed sources indicate that Adel Kake was taken to an undisclosed location following his arrest at his family home by the Intelligence Department forces.
The arrest follows that of Omid Ahmadnejad, a 35-year-old singer, who was detained at his home in Qajiabad, Mahabad, by the same security forces on the morning of September 3.
In addition, 16-year-old Ramyar Abu Bakri and Siavash Soltani, members of the justice-seeking families associated with the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, were also arrested by the Intelligence Department.
As of the time of writing, no detailed information regarding the reasons for these arrests, the charges against the detainees, or their current whereabouts has been made available.
