The Death Sentence of a Prisoner Carried Out in Gorgan Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner named Alimorad Hasanzadeh, who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was carried out in Gorgan Central Prison, Golestan Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, September 16, 2024, the death sentence of Alimorad Hasanzadeh, 33 years old, was carried out in Gorgan Central Prison.

Informed sources stated that this prisoner was arrested two years ago for drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
