Prisoner executed in Semnan Central Prison

The death sentence of a prisoner from Zibashahr, Tehran, named Jafar Fallah, who had previously been convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out in Semnan Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Sunday, January 12, 2025, the death sentence of Jafar Fallah, 44 years old and a resident of Zibashahr, Tehran Province, was carried out in Semnan Central Prison.
Sources indicate that Jafar Fallah was arrested three years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
To date, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
