Executions of Jahangir Fouladi, Saman Heydari, and Rouhollah Arab carried out in multiple prisons across Iran

The death sentences of three prisoners, Jahangir Fouladi, Saman Heydari, and Rouhollah Arab, were carried out in the prisons of Zanjan, Shiraz, and Semnan. The individuals had previously been convicted on charges related to drug offenses and premeditated murder.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the execution of Fouladi, a 34-year-old father from Qazvin, was carried out at Zanjan Central Prison. He had been arrested three years ago on drug trafficking charges and was later sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic’s judiciary.
On the same day, the death sentence of Heydari, a 40-year-old Lor from Yasuj in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, was carried out at Adelabad Central Prison in Shiraz. He had been in detention for six years following his arrest on murder charges and was ultimately sentenced to death.
Simultaneously, the execution of Arab, a 30-year-old from Semnan, was carried out at Semnan Central Prison. He had been arrested five years earlier on murder charges and later sentenced to death.
The executions of these three individuals have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with Iran’s judiciary.
