Three Kurdish prisoners executed in Kermanshah Central Prison

The death sentences of three Kurdish prisoners — Shahram Mirzaei (31), Eghbal Khazaei, and Ahmad (last name unknown) — were carried out in Central Prison of Kermanshah. The three had been convicted of murder.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions were carried out at dawn on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Sources told Hengaw that the prisoners had been arrested in separate cases several years ago on murder charges and were later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not reported the executions.
