Iranian authorities executed Ali Saedpanah, a Kurdish prisoner previously sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder,” in Esfarayen Central Prison in North Khorasan Province.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Saedpanah, a resident of Esfarayen, was executed at dawn on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the city’s central prison.

Saedpanah had been arrested two years earlier on charges of “murder” and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The execution had not been announced by state-controlled media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
