Two prisoners executed in Khorramabad Prison: Mostafa Mirzaei and Ayub Latifian

The death sentences of Mostafa (Jaseb) Mirzaei and Ayub Latifian, two Kurdish prisoners from Nurabad, Lorestan Province, were carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison. Both had been convicted of premeditated murder in separate cases.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place at dawn on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

Mirzaei, a father of three from the village of Deh Firoozvand Chavari, and Latifian, a married man from Sikond Chavari village, were arrested several years ago and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The executions have not been announced by Iranian state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
