Father of two Azad Changa executed in Naghadeh Central Prison

Iranian authorities have executed Azad Changa (Qalarash), a Kurdish prisoner who had been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges related to “drug-related offences.” The execution was carried out in Naghadeh Central Prison.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentence of Changa, 43, from Sardasht and a father of two, was implemented at dawn on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Naghadeh Central Prison.
Sources familiar with the case stated that Changa had been arrested three years ago on charges related to “drug-related offences” and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
News of his execution has not been published in state media, including outlets close to the judiciary.
