Ali Eitvand and Keyumars Bahrami executed in Karaj Central Prison

Iran has executed two Kurdish prisoners from Kuhdasht, identified as Ali Eitvand, 35, and Keyumars Bahrami, 29, in Karaj Central Prison. Both men had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges by the Iranian judiciary.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Eitvand and Bahrami—who were relatives—were executed on the evening of Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Karaj Central Prison.
Sources said Eitvand had been arrested approximately three years ago, while Bahrami had been detained for about two years, both on charges related to drug offenses. They were later sentenced to death following judicial proceedings.
The executions have not been announced by Iranian state media or by outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
