A kurdish prisoner tortured to death in Khorramabad prison

Hengaw : A 27-year-old Kurdish citizen identified as Farhad Vosoughi from Harsin district of Kermanshah province residing in Nurabad district , Lorestan province of Iranian Kurdistan , was killed under torture by security forces of Khorramabad Central Prison on the evening of November 10,2020. 

 Farhad Vosoughi's brother confirmed to Hangaw’s correspondent that he had seen his brother's body in forensic center  in Khorramabad, which was brutally been tortured .

 Farhad Vosoughi 27 - year-old , was married and father of a 3 -month-old son.  He was originally from Harsin and lived in the village of Divasan (Deh Yousefan) in Nurabad district of Lorestan province in Iranian Kurdistan.

 According to an informed source, Farhad Vosoughi was detained  about three weeks ago accused  of participating in the murder of another citizen from Nurabad, identified as Hossein Jozi. 
He had been held in solitary confinement in Khorramabad Central Prison since the second day of his detention.

 The source further stated that Hossein Jozi was one of the activists and organizers of the November 2019 protests in Nurabad and was recently abducted by the Iranian-Islamic Revolution Guards Corps intelligence forces and then killed.  For twisting the case they later detained two members of a family accused  of murdering Hossein Jozi.

 It is worth mentioning that another brother of Yousef, identified as Mostafa Vosoughi, was detained about 3 months ago accused of murdering Hossein Jozi  and is currently imprisoned in Khorramabad Central Prison.

 The Vosoughi family have received the body of their son from the forensic center of Khorramabad today, Friday, November 14,2020.

 According to Hengaw sources, riots broke out in Khorramabad Central Prison on Wednesday evening after the news about Farhad Vosoughi's murder was leaked , security forces entered the prison and began beating prisoners.
