15 Kolbars and Local tradesmen Killed and injured during March 2021 — a statistical report

Hengaw : At least 15 Kurdish Kolbars and Local tradesmen known as “ Kasibkar” were killed and wounded on the borders of Iranian Kurdistan in March 2021.
According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Data Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, during March 2021, at least 15 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and wounded on the borders of Iranian Kurdistan, 80% of whom were targeted by direct fire from the Iranian armed forces.
According to the report, 3 Kolbars lost their lives and 12 were injured. It is worth mentioning that one of the Kolbars who lost his life was beaten and tortured by the Turkish Armed Forces.
Most of the victims were from the provinces of Kurdistan (Sanandaj) and Kermanshah, each with 6 cases and all the 3 casualties, were from West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province .
Cause of death or injury:
Direct fire: 12 cases (12 wounded) equivalent to 80% of the total cases
Natural incidents : 2 cases (2 killed) equivalent to 14% of total cases.
Torture by the military forces : 1 case (1 killed) equivalent to 6 % of Total cases.

West Azerbaijan Province (Urmia): 3 cases included (3 killed).
Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj): 6 cases included (6 injured).
Kermanshah province: 6 cases included (6 injured).
