The arrest of Ghaneh Khateri to serve his imprisonment sentence

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, Ghaneh Khateri, one of the civil activists of Sanandaj, was arrested after being summoned to the Enforcement Judgement of Sanandaj Revolutionary Court and was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison to serve his 18-month sentence.
The civil activist was arrested on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, along with 6 more activists and members of the charity campaign "Zhianewe Kurdistan" by the forces of the Intelligence Service, and he was temporarily released from prison on Thursday, May 27, after 40 days of detention, until the end of the proceedings.
These seven civil activists and members of the charity campaign "Zhianewe Kurdistan" were sentenced to 2 years in prison each by branch 1 of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Saeedi in charges of cooperating with one of the opposition Kurdish parties of the government.
It should be mentioned that during the last few days, due to submission to the judge's decision, his sentence was reduced to 18 months of imprisonment.
Ghaneh Khateri is currently serving his 18-month sentence in Sanandaj Central Prison.
