Loqman Qaderi, a citizen from Pasveh village in Piranshahr (Khani), who was arrested by the security agencies early fall and is imprisoned in Urmia central prison, was sentenced to 2 years and 7 months and 16 days by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the charge of being a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Loqman Qaderi has been recently tried and sentenced to imprisonment by Branch 102 of the Piranshahr Criminal Court headed by Judge Babaei and after 10 months of indecision, and the sentence has been announced to him in the central prison of Urmia.
Hengaw has been informed that Loqman Qaderi has been deprived of access to a lawyer for the past 10 months.
Loqman Qaderi was arrested on Friday, October 22, 2021, by the Piranshahr Intelligence forces and taken to Urmia. The Kurdish citizen was kept in the detention center of the Urmia Intelligence Office for more than 6 months and was transferred to the central prison of Urmia without any court disposition.
It should be mentioned that Loqman Qaderi is currently serving his sentence in Urmia Central Prison.
