Arin Kokhaei, a detained man from Ilam, started a hunger strike by sewing his lips in protest against the lack of processing of his case in the central prison of Ilam.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on February 14, 2023, Arin Kokhaei, 22 years old and from Ilam, started a hunger strike by sewing his lips.
This citizen has been accused of "forming a criminal group, destruction and showing of force with firearms, and disturbing public order" by the investigation of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Ilam Revolution.
According to Hengaw sources, in December of this year, Arin Kokhaei was sentenced to a fine by the Ilam Criminal Court in another case on the charge of "insulting the sacred."
