Two detained Kurdish citizens named Mohammad Danyali, from Abdanan, and Naser Rezaei, from Sarab Bagh city near Abdanan, started a hunger strike in the Central Detention Center of the Iranian Intelligence in Ilam to protest against their situation.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, June 9, 2023, 23-year-old Mohammad Danyali and 43-year-old Naser Rezaei, two Kurdish citizens from Abdanan City, started a hunger strike in the Central Detention Center of the Iranian Intelligence in Ilam to protest against the lack of access to their file and being subjected to severe torture.
Nader Rezaei was arrested by the Iranian government forces in the Ahvaz terminal on the evening of Monday, May 22, 2023. During his detention, he was severely injured by cables and heavy blows.
Also, Mohammad Danyali, a member of the "Benar Abdanan" mountaineering group, was arrested by the Iranian government forces in Dehloran on the evening of Sunday, May 14, 2023.
