Keyvan Nabi, one of the detainees of the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi movement in Piranshahr, who was previously sentenced to six years and three months of imprisonment, has been arrested and transferred to prison to serve his sentence.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Keyvan Nabi, 28 years old, father of one child and a resident of Piranshahr, was arrested after being summoned and referred to the Piranshahr Court of Justice for the serving his prison sentence. He was later transferred to Naghadeh prison.
 

Previously, Keyvan Nabi was sentenced by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Mahabad to 32 months in prison on the charge of "membership in the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran" and to 43 months on the charge of "gathering and colluding against security" for a total of six years and three months in prison.
 

Keyvan Nabi was violently arrested on Saturday, November 12, 2022, by Iranian government forces at his home in Piranshahr.
 

After spending some time in Urmia and Piranshahr detention centers, this civil activist was transferred to Naghadeh prison and was finally released from this prison by posting bail until the end of the proceedings.
