Death sentence of a prisoner in carried out Miandoab Central Prison

The death sentence of Behzad Saidi Bokani, a Kurdish prisoner from Bukan was carried out in Miandoab Central Prison. He was previously convicted of “premeditated murder” by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, December 16, 2024, Behzad Saidi Bokani was executed in Miandoab Central Prison.

A reliable source stated that Behzad Saidi Bokani had been arrested several years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death.

It has also been reported that the prisoner had been transferred from Bukan Central Prison to Miandoab Central Prison some time ago in preparation for his execution.

As of the time of this report, the news of Behzad Saidi Bokani’s execution has not been announced in state media, particularly in outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
