Death Sentence of prisoner carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison

Last Wednesday, the death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner from Kangavar, identified as Mostafa Souri, who had previously been convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Central Prison of Kermanshah.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the death sentence of Mostafa Souri, a Kurdish prisoner from Kangavar, was carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison.

This prisoner had been arrested earlier on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the time of this report, the news of this prisoner’s execution has not been announced in state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
