Death sentences of two prisoners carried out in Esfarayen Central Prison

The death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners, Mohsen Fayazi and Omid Javedan, who had previously been convicted of "premeditated murder," were carried out in the Esfarayen Central Prison in North Khorasan Province.  

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentences of these prisoners were carried out at dawn on Tuesday, November 19, 2026, in the Esfarayen Central Prison.  

Sources close to the matter stated that the two individuals were arrested on charges of premeditated murder and were ultimately sentenced to death.  

To date, the news of the executions of these prisoners has not been announced in state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
