Four prisoners executed in Yazd, Qom, and Shahr-e Kord Prisons

The death sentences of four prisoners, identified as Davood Mohammadi Takht-Shah, Osman Dahmardeh, Davood Rajabi, and Majid Jafari, were carried out in the central prisons of Yazd, Qom, and Shahr-e Kord. They had previously been convicted of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, November 28, 2024, the execution of Majid Jafari, a 38-year-old prisoner from Hafshanjan in Shahr-e Kord, was carried out in the central prison of Shahr-e Kord. He had been arrested three and a half years ago on drug-related charges and subsequently sentenced to death.
Simultaneously, the death sentences of two Baloch prisoners, Davood Mohammadi Takht-Shah (Dahmardeh), 33, and Osman Dahmardeh, 26, both from Zahedan, were carried out in Yazd Central Prison. According to the Haalvsh news outlet, these two prisoners had been arrested five years ago in a joint case and sentenced to death by the Yazd Revolutionary Court on charges of drug-related offenses.
In another case, the Iran Human Rights Organization reported that on the morning of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the death sentence of Davood Rajabi, a Tat man from Eshtehard, a district in Karaj, Alborz Province, was carried out in Qom Central Prison. He had been sentenced to death four years ago for premeditated murder.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these four prisoners has not been announced by state-affiliated media, particularly those closely tied to the judiciary.
