Three prisoners executed in Shiraz Central Prison

The death sentences of three prisoners—Gholam Rosta, Farzad Khorrami, and Kheirollah Amiri—convicted of premeditated murder and drug-related offenses, were carried in Central Prison of Shiraz.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place on December 12, 2024.
Gholam Rosta, 35, from Shiraz, had been arrested five years ago on charges of premeditated murder and subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary.

Additionally Kheirollah Amiri, 36, from Kazerun, and Farzad Khorrami, whose hometown was not specified, were convicted of drug-related charges four and two years ago, respectively, and were also sentenced to death.

As of the time of this report, the executions have not been publicly announced by state-controlled media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
