Death sentence of a prisoner carried in Malayer Central Prison

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner, Sheikh Hassan Ebrahimi, a resident of the Garawan area in Kuhdasht County, was carried out in Malayer Central Prison. He had previously been sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic of Iran judiciary on charges related to drug offenses.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, December 14, 2024, the execution of Sheikh Hassan Ebrahimi, a resident of Chah Kheir village in Kuhdasht County, Lorestan Province, was carried out in Malayer Central Prison, Hamadan Province.

Informed sources stated that this prisoner had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
