Prisoner executed in Kermanshah Prison

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner, Hamid Moradian, a resident of Firouzabad in Lorestan Province, was carried out in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah. Moradian had been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges of “premeditated murder.”

According to reprts received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Hamid Moradian had been arrested earlier on charges of premeditated murder and was ultimately sentenced to death by the judiciary.
