Three prisoners executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj

Two Kurdish prisoners, Masoud Jalilian from Kermanshah and Hassan Mansouri from Kuhdasht, along with another prisoner named Hamed Pakdaman from Hamedan, were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj, Alborz Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the death sentences of Masoud Jalilian, Hassan Mansouri, and Hamed Pakdaman were implemented in Ghezel Hesar Prison.

It is noteworthy that these prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in preparation for their execution.

The three prisoners had been previously arrested for drug-related charges and were ultimately sentenced to death.

To date, the news of the execution of these prisoners has not been announced in state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
