Siamak Davoudi, 20 years old and from the village of "Dolav" in Sanandaj, who previously spent nearly 80 days of detention with torture, has been sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Siamak Davoudi was sentenced to 3 years in prison by the first branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj, headed by Judge Seyedi, for the charge of "community and collusion to commit a crime against internal security."

The verdict issued by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj on January 21, 2023, was officially communicated to this citizen.

It is worth noting that Siamak Davoudi was released from Sanandaj prison on the same day as the official notification of the verdict, with a bail of 500 million tomans (12,000 USD) until the end of the proceedings.

On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Siamak Davoudi was arrested at his workplace (a barbershop) located on "Siros" street in Sanandaj city by the forces of the Iranian intelligence, and after interrogation, he was transferred to the central prison of this city.

This citizen was subjected to mental and physical torture during the interrogation period in the detention center and was denied access to a lawyer and other basic rights, including family visits, during the entire period of detention and imprisonment.
