Six Arab political prisoners named Ali Majdam, Mohammad Reza Moghadam, Moin Khanfari, Habib Daris, Adnan Ghobishavi, and Salim Mousavi were sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in recent days, Ali Majdam, Mohammad Reza Moghadam, Moin Khanfari, Habib Daris, Adnan Ghobishavi, and Salim Mousavi were charged by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Ahwaz with "membership in the al-Nidal movement for armed confrontation with the basis of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

These political prisoners, who were arrested in the winter of 2017, have been subjected to severe physical and mental torture to obtain a forced confession.

Ali Majdam, Mohammad Reza Moghadam, Moin Khanfari, Habib Drees, Adnan Ghobishavi, and Salem Mousavi have been forced to confess under torture to their connection with the "Harek al-Nidal" movement in Europe, including exchanging money through a foreign bank and armed attacks.

The Iranian judiciary claims that these people have killed two members of the Basij, a member of the police force, and a soldier in several separate operations.
