Two Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr arrested and sent to prison to serve their sentence

 Two Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr, named Anwar Sheykheh and Rahman Qaderi, who was previously sentenced to prison by the Iranian judiciary, were arrested and transferred to Naghadeh prison to serve their prison sentences.
 

 According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, March 18, 2023, Rahman Qaderi and Anwar Sheykheh, both from the village of "Paseweh" in Piranshahr, were arrested and transferred to Naghadeh Central Prison after being summoned to the court in Piranshar.
 

 Last summer, Anwar Sheykheh was sentenced to two years and 7 months in prison by Branch 101 of the Iranian Criminal Court in Piranshahr on the charge of "collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iran".
 

 This court also sentenced Rahman Qaderi to two years, seven months, and 16 days in prison on the charge of "collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iran" and to seven months and 16 days in prison on the charge of "propaganda against the regime".  This sentence was communicated to him in September 2022 and according to the Consolidation of Sentences Law, the serving of the sentence is enforceable for Mr. Qaderi.
 

 On Tuesday, November 2, 2023, Anwar Sheykheh was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces and taken to the detention center of this institution in Urmia.
 

 On Saturday, March 13, 2023, after more than 4 months of detention, he was temporarily released from Naghadeh Central Prison with a bail of one billion and 200 million tomans (27,000 USD) until the end of the proceedings.
 

 Rahman Qaderi was also arrested on Sunday, February 13, 2022, after being summoned to Piranshahr Intelligence Department and was transferred to this agency's detention center in Urmia and then transferred to Naqdeh Central Prison.

 

 After a month of detention and torture, this Kurdish activist was temporarily released from Naghadeh Central Prison with a bail of one billion Tomans (23,000 USD).
