At Shiraz Central Prison, the death sentences of two additional prisoners, namely Ahmad Mohammadi and Vahid Salmi, have been carried out, elevating the total number of executed prisoners in the facility to three. This follows the prior confirmation of the execution of Behrouz Dinarbar.

According reports obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ahmad Mohammadi, a 45-year-old inmate from Birjand, South Khorasan, faced execution early on Sunday, November 12, 2023. The prisoner had been arrested five years ago on charges related to drug crimes, leading to the imposition of the death penalty.

Simultaneously, Vahid Salmi, a 35-year-old prisoner from Sadra in Fars province, underwent execution in Shiraz Central Prison. Arrested three years ago on charges linked to drug offenses, Salmi received the death penalty.

Previously, the execution of Behrouz Dinarber, a 50-year-old Baloch prisoner from Kohnuj in Kerman province, was reported at dawn on the same Sunday in the central prison of Shiraz.

As of the time of compiling this report, there has been no official announcement regarding the execution of these three prisoners in the government media, particularly outlets associated with the judiciary.
