The execution toll in Karaj Central Prison has reached five, with the identification of three additional prisoners: Milad Bideh, Hamid Bakshaish, and Hamid Esmaili. This update follows the recent news of the execution of Amin Zakari Kakavand and Khalil Hajiabadi, previously reported by Hengaw.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the death sentences of Hamid Esmaili, a native of Kohdasht, Lorestan province, Milad Bideh from Sulqan in Kan District ofTehran province, and Hamid Bakshaish of Robat Karim, were implemented in Karaj Central Prison.
Hamid Bakshaish, imprisoned for 12 years, had the news of his execution published last week, and his sentence was carried out today.
Yesterday, Hengaw reported the execution of Amin Zakari Kakavand and Khalil Hajiabadi, residents of Harsin and Kangavar, Kermanshah (Kermashan), in Karaj Central Prison.
According to informed sources, these prisoners had initially been arrested on charges related to drug crimes and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Notably, the news of the execution of these five prisoners has not been officially announced in government media, particularly those close to the judiciary, as of the time of writing this news.
