Political Prisoner in Shiraz Given 10-Year Sentence by Iranian Judiciary

Ehsan Moshksar, a political prisoner from the city of Sadra, a suburb of Shiraz in Fars province, is serving his 10-year prison sentence in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in June 2024, Ehsan Moshksar was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Shiraz Revolutionary Court on charges such as "membership in illegal groups with the intent to disrupt security."

Ehsan Moshksar, 37 years old and a father of one, is enduring the eighth month of his imprisonment in Shiraz Central Prison.

This political prisoner was arrested on October 28, 2023, by the intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the city of Sadra and was subsequently transferred to Shiraz Central Prison.
